NavCloud removes the manual burden of SOLAS voyage preparation. Automated route planning, daily navigational data delivery, real-time fleet visibility and decision support, all in one connected service.

Voyage preparation for a SOLAS vessel is time-consuming, fragmented, and carries real compliance risk. Bridge teams must manually gather charts, notices, and radio warnings from multiple sources, transfer routes into the ECDIS, and coordinate with the shore office, all while ensuring everything meets IMO requirements.
NavCloud from Teledyne Raymarine Commercial automates that entire workflow, connecting route planning, navigational data delivery, ECDIS integration, and shore-side oversight in one transparent service.
A voyage request is all it takes to set the process in motion. NavCloud calculates an optimised route using a continuously maintained Route Network Database built by qualified master mariners, then delivers that route directly to the vessel's ECDIS for review and acceptance by the bridge team. At the same time, all required ENCs, T&P notices, and radio warnings are automatically licensed and pushed to the vessel on a daily basis. No USB transfers. No manual data chasing.
Less administrative burden: The bridge team is freed from manual data gathering and route file transfers, reducing workload and the risk of human error before departure.
Built-in compliance: Route acceptance takes place inside the type-approved ECDIS, fully in line with IMO SOLAS requirements. The Voyage Plan template is structured for active review, not just sign-off.
Shore-side visibility: Through MyFleet, the management team can monitor vessel position, voyage plan status, and ECDIS data compliance in real time, without calling the ship.
Predictable costs: A fixed monthly fee covers the service, ECDIS, and all navigational data.
A clear path to S-100: As the service includes the ECDIS, the transition to S-100 is managed collaboratively with each customer at no additional cost.
NavCloud's routing engine draws on the Teledyne SevenCs Route Network Database, maintained by qualified master mariners and updated with the latest bathymetry, Notices to Mariners and local information. Unlike solutions based solely on historical AIS data, it incorporates forward-looking information including planned TSS changes, MSI conditions, and NAVAREA warnings.
The database covers 16,966 destination points, 3,952 unique ports, 195 countries, 3,184 pilot stations and thousands of leg lines. Route calculations account for vessel draft, air draft, beam, loading condition, cargo type, and flag state. Routes are returned within minutes.
The Teledyne SevenCs Voyage Intelligence API handles route requests via a REST interface, supporting No Go Areas, zone avoidance, controlled area restrictions (TSS, territorial seas, ESSA), and Voyage Plan documentation output. It also provides a flexible integration point for third-party fleet management and ERP systems.
Once a route is confirmed, NavCloud automatically licenses and delivers the required ENCs, T&P notices, and NAVAREA radio warnings to the ECDIS via CIO+ on a daily refresh cycle. All data transfer is cybersecure: no USB media is involved, and a type-approved IEC 61162-460 gateway protects the ECDIS from unsecured ship networks.
NavCloud includes the eGlobe G2 type-approved ECDIS as part of the service, and also integrates with Pathfinder ECDIS via the eSync gateway. Optimised routes are pushed directly to the ECDIS for bridge team review. Any modifications made by the officers are automatically exchanged back with the system. Final acceptance remains with the bridge team inside the ECDIS, as required by IMO legislation.
MyRA is where the master and officers submit voyage requests, review proposed routes, and manages the voyage plan. MyFleet gives fleet managers and marine superintendents real-time visibility of vessel positions, voyage plans, ECDIS compliance status, and event alerts, with API integration to existing management systems.
