Raymarine’s Pathfinder Radar and ECDIS systems are type-approved and certified for use on all classes of SOLAS vessels. For non-SOLAS applications we offer commercial radar and Electronic Chart System (ECS) solutions that are scaled to the needs of commercial fishing vessels, and compliant with most local and national regulations.
The Pathfinder family of Radar, ECDIS, and ECS systems incorporate modern design principals and a simplified user experience that puts the operator first and prioritizes navigational safety best practices. Intuitive controls and menu structures ensure easy access to navigation tools and functions.
Pathfinder Radar uses a modern, lightweight scanner with a small-diameter inter-unit cable that carries both power and digital communication between the scanner and display. The system can be powered easily from ship’s 12 or 24-Volt DC power and is much simpler to install and maintain.
Our radar, ECDIS and ECS systems offer high-brightness, fully waterproof displays, which operate without noisy cooling fans or disposable filters. Pathfinder solid-state radars never need a magnetron replacement, and performance does not degrade over time.
